Madeleine had a challenge issued to her this term - to write her own reader's theatre.
Maddy has worked really hard to rewrite the Gruffalo's Child in to a short play suitable for a group of Rm 22 children to perform. She choose the children who would play each part and then directed the practises over a number of weeks until all the cast knew their lines off by heart. The students organised their costumes and we were extremely grateful to Jade's mum, Kim, who came on performance day and spent nearly 2 hours painting their faces. Thanks Kim!
