Meeting our new buddies

Last week we got to meet our new buddy class - Room 9. We had great fun asking them questions and finding out all about them. After that we got to make a special rosette in our house colour ready for the House Competition on Monday. Unfortunately this has now been cancelled because of the snow days. We are looking forward to doing Buddy reading and other fun activities with them over the next two terms

Yippee!! Loving the snow!

Here are a few more photos from some of the kids enjoying the days off school this week.

Hi everyone.
I hope you are having fun in the snow today. Unbelievable that we have more time off school! Pretty happy that it's for snow not earthquakes though! Here is a pic of the snowman we made. If you get Mum or Dad to email me photos of you playing in the snow today we can make up a slideshow when we get back to school. I wonder if that will be tomorrow???
Take care and stay warm
Miss Lythgoe :-)

Scaring Emily

Yesterday the Seals reading group performed a play to the class. They thought it was fun getting to wear their PJ's in class! We have asked our school council rep, Jess to find out of we can have a PJ day at school for our next mufti day.
In the play 6 friends on a sleep over decided to wake Emily and give her a fright but Emily has other plans. Just when they are about to tip toe over and shout 'Boo', Emily throws back the covers and scares all her friends instead.
Well Done Seals, we really enjoyed watching you perform.
The Seals - about to perform 'Scaring Emily'
Waking up 'Logan' the 6th friend
About to scare Emily
Emily had other ideas!
All the friends get a fright instead.
